As a Non-Executive Director (Board Member) of CFG-Holdings Plc, Dr. Claire Choukem provides strategic guidance on academic partnerships, financial oversight, and governance frameworks. Her deep experience in structuring administrative and financial systems across institutions makes her a valuable contributor to CFG’s long-term vision of building a financially disciplined and impact-driven Pan-African group.
Claire plays a vital role in advising CFG-Holdings on risk management processes, internal controls, performance analysis, and ethical corporate governance. Her academic insight brings a unique research-based approach to organizational development, allowing CFG to craft growth strategies that are both data-driven and locally adapted to African economic contexts.
As a board member, she also supports the evaluation and development of capacity-building initiatives across CFG subsidiaries, especially in training, compliance, and talent development.

Spearheaded the establishment and academic leadership of Vatel’s hospitality and tourism management school in Cameroon. Leads institutional development, curriculum strategy, and operational management aligned with international standards.

Dr. Choukem is a lecturer and researcher in management control, with a focus on how African organizations adapt and implement financial control tools. She is passionate about combining academic theory with real-world application, especially in helping financial institutions and higher education systems build strong internal governance systems.
